Hi No.stirrups- I hear you are the Harry Dabbs wizard in the US. I have a 2014 HD Future Jump with the Avant Consort tree (curvy) which fits my OTTB perfectly. And I love it too, except that the flaps seem a bit too forward for me. Even with moving the thigh blocks I can’t seem to get support with my stirrups shortened to a comfortable height. Is there a way to move the flaps back a bit on this saddle? I ride in an 18’ because of my big butt but I have only a 29" inseam so short little legs. I LOVE this saddle and am hoping some tweaks can make it perfect for me too? I’m even willing to send it to the factory in England if it that’s where something like this has to be done. Thanks! Kim

Ooooh, wizard, huh? I like that! It is possible, though it’s above my skill level. I suggest sending a message to Patty Barnett at East Crow Saddlery. She’s the one I prefer to send all my repairs too other than the really basic ones. 860-379-2300
or saddledr@aol.com. If not, we can maybe do a partial trade for a saddle with what they call a Retro flap which is less forward so keep me posted. Good luck!

Hi there! Just found your message so please disregard the second message on same subject I just sent this evening. I’ll contact Patty and keep you posted. As luck would have it, I’m in CT as well (opposite side of the state so about 1.5 hrs). Thanks very much! Kim
