Hi, Has anyone dealt with showing a horse on the flexineb? The bronchodilators that we use at home are not USEF legal for horse shows. I am working with the medication section of USEF for withdrawal time and what is acceptable on their end. How do you handle a horse with respiratory issues at shows? We already soak his hay, use a hay net and at home is on rice hauls and is outside majority of the day. I am looking for more hints and tricks that we may not have thought of so far. Im more curious on how to keep him more comfortable in the stable, not the amount/intensity of workload. Quality of life is my #1 priority, and he is still able to show at this point in his life, confirmed by my amazing top vet. We are always evaluating his health and the moment it is not fair to him to show, he will be retired from showing.
