I tried to respond to your post, but it kept saying “empty response”. Yes, Canadian TBs use the same tattoo format as US TBs. The 4s on all tattos are open. I have a group on Facebook called OTTB Tattoos, if you need any help IDing your horse. We do a lot of difficult ones.
