Well I know that this is a liberal message board and I’ll probably get blasted but I don’t believe that police should be blamed when 99% of them are the good guys. Just like all blacks should not be categorized because of the bad ones. My husband is a retired state trooper. If you looked up that definition in a dictionary his picture would be there. None of the other cops that he’s worked with have ever exhibited this type of behavior. It’s the social media that is blowing this completely out of proportion. I am not downplaying what happened to George Floyd. It was a terrible thing. Those police officers should never have been on the job. Unfortunately, with all of the attacks on police in the recent years no one wants to be a police officer anymore. So then what happens? They have to accept lesser qualified candidates. Defunding the police are not the answer. I’ve actually deleted my Facebook account because I am so sick to death of this.
