Tipzythegreat,

Thank you for your recommendation. I can not agree more. People here really rush the rehab, and I have commited to not letting that happen again. I am reaching out to a vet in North Carolina that is the lameness vet of a hunter trainer there just to get another opinion on what he sees in the radiographs and ultrasounds, stifle and suspensory, and what he would recommend for a rehab program. The rehab program with the stifle may have been to aggressive and caused him to loose the clot that was supposed to form in the stifle. Or, the other reason microfracture fails in OCD lesions is that the clot is weak. In any case, the joint has been cleaned up, but the hole remains. Originally, I got the 2nd opinion thinking he was headed back to surgery to reattempt to fill in the hole in the bone. I was very suprised with the suspensory finding. I will file away your recommended vet. People do feel they have to leave the area sometimes to get clarity on their horse’s condition. Have you ever heard of this?
