Every Saturday I go grocery shopping after riding in the morning. I guess I’ve been fashion forward this whole time.
My first thought too.

I believe Tory Burch did ride as a kid, and I know she has done a few “equestrian” themed collections over the years… but I agree–that has gone a bit too far!

So basically people are going to be walking around looking like they forgot to take their half chaps off  This is definitely a bridge too far on the riding-fashion crossover!!
And they were too short plus too fat in the ankle to begin with? Dude: WHY? And how much to they cost?
It’s not going to feel good when they zip their skin while zipping the half chaps on bare legs! I follow one fashion blogger who was all over these, saying how great they are. I messaged her saying I could save her a lot of money by telling her where to go to buy a set of paddock boots and half chaps.

I’ve seen people wearing half chaps as boots since last fall. It cracked me up, but I guess most fashion type boots don’t really fit very well so it kind of makes sense if you want a fitted tall boot look.
Parlanti’s and everyone is really missing out on a major market grab here! lol!!
