Total Saddle Fit Stability Leathers

Reviews, please? And due to the design, trying to decide whether 48" or my typical 54" is best. I’m 5’3" with longish legs and short torso. Do they really help stabilize your lower leg?

I love mine. I’m 5’ 9" and bought the 60" ones.

LeMieux makes a wide leather now. I just put them on my jumping saddle and like them quite a bit. A trainer who has used Millbrook and TSF wide leathers jumped my horse and said she liked them and would probably buy a pair.

I’ve had the Total Saddle fit leathers for several years (5 years I think) on my dressage saddle. I liked them so much I bought a pair for my close contact saddle as well.

They’re very comfortable and will not pinch your leg. They also do provide a bit more stability than the usual width leather. I also don’t think they’ve stretched very much, and they’ve been very durable generally.

I’ve like them a lot!

5’6" here, 31" inseam and I bought the short TSF leathers. The tails just barely tuck into the keepers on the flap. I measured my leathers prior to purchase because I didn’t want 6" of tail hanging off behind my saddle flap, and because they’re wrapped leathers at the end they’re not easily shortened.

Measure your leathers to see what length you need.

I bought them to smooth out the bump between stirrup leather and saddle flap - which they do beautifully. I can’t speak to leg stability as I had very stable legs before buying.

Thanks, everyone! I notice Smartpak sells some too, that are their brand, for about 30 dollars cheaper…anyone try those?

I have a pair on my cc saddle and love them

I’ve got the Ovation stability leathers and I think they’re just fine. Not life changing, and not terrible. Just fine.

I didn’t notice a difference in stability or comfort between them and any other leathers I’ve used tbh, but they’re at a decent enough price point/quality intersection that I’ve bought two pairs now. The older pair is about 2 years old now and maybe only slightly stretched after riding between 2-4x/wk. I bought the 2nd pair for my dressage saddle.
