Has anyone tried this newer model? I know many like the tsf girths in general. My mare likes sheepskin girth, gets rubs from most everything else. She got a new saddle and for some reason her old girth now seems too long with the billets on the new saddle. So I need a shorter girth. Does the elastic on this one cause rubs? How is the sheepskin? TIA
I have it with the neoprene liner and love mine. My boy goes well in it and we have had no issues
I’ve used the all leather and like it. The padding and leather quality doesn’t warrant the price tag, though, in my opinion. But if I could find one used, I wouldn’t hesitate.
I am not familiar with that particular girth but do own a long shoulder relief girth by TSF for my jumping saddle. I really like it! I am no expert on leather quality but I feel it is good with the side that goes against my horse is really soft and he is thin skinned and doesn’t mind it at all. I also have two different wither relief half pads by TSF and love them also.
Someone at my barn has one. She seems to like it for her horse. I tried it and liked the idea but it didn’t work as well for my horse’s forward girth groove like my ProLite girth. If it was shaped a bit more for forward girth grooves, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it.
I didn’t really like it for my girl. Seemed too bulky behind the elbows somehow. I thought the leather quality was nicer than what I had expected given the comments on this forum about it.
I have it. Started with the leather one, then sprang for the fleece lining. My horse likes it.
I have one and my horse much prefers it to his original TSF girth. I’m anxiously awaiting the long version. My trainer also purchased one for her sensitive horse and he’s also a fan.
