unfreakinbeleivable
Poetry in Motion!

Secretariat’s Triple Crown and Totilas in the same lifetime. I am so honored.

Good observation Coreene. Two horses who bring tears to the eyes. Wonderful to the point of breaking my heart with beauty.

ORANJE BOVEN ORANJE BOVEN!!! HUP HOLLAND HUP!!!

WHOOPPEE!

Could anyone else ā€œhearā€ Edward thinking, ā€œJust get me off this podium. I want to do that victory lap with my partner!!!ā€

Just tried linking to that site…I’ve been permanently banned from the site.
Have never been to it…anyone one else try it?

ORANJE BOVEN…

the orange I get…
boven…sounds like…bovine?
that is just wrong!?!

funny you should bring up the Secretariat analogy…
I’ve been saying that all day

glad Stefan medalled!
Ashley gave good dressage - Canada is proud!

I was able to access it just fine.

WOW… just wow. It gave me goosebumps just watching on a little computer screen, can’t even imagine seeing it in person.

Meh, I was there tonite and it just didn’t seem like a 91 to me… Or to anyone else in my group. Non of us are judges though. Don’t get me wrong, he’s an incredible horse and a wonderful talented rider. But there were more bobbles in this test than say the GP test or the Special. it didn’t impress me like his GP test did.

just worked for me- incredible ride!

It was a lovely test. That horse just oozes quality through and through. I’m very happy to have seen him do these last three tests at WEG.

watched at a little local sports bar…they gave over the big screen tv to dressage!!!..much clapping and cheering…as if it was a ā€˜real’ sport  very fun

that said…I agree that I didn’t think Totilas was altogether ON tonight…but even with holes in it the performance was…very enjoyable… he is…quite a nice horse…

glad Stefan medalled
Ashley made Canada proud

altogether a pleasant evening…

It’s difficult to do, because your eyes are glued to this once-in-a-lifetime horse. But I watched Mr. Gal ride this time. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like it. It’s an incredible horse, but an absolutely incredible rider.

Congratulations to the Dutch team. There’s a new sheriff in town, that’s for sure!

Never fails - always a negative comment when that horse is the topic of conversation. This is dressage history and the horse and rider cannot be denied.

I tend to agree a little. Just finished watching it online. I think it was a lovely test and an amazing ride, but there seemed to be some mistakes that would seem to mark it down a little. I guess the stuff he is good at, he is reallly, really good at!

What never fails is that anyone who has anything to say about that horse other than gushing that he is practically the second coming of little baby jesus and/or the sexiest horse/man alive, they get jumped on. The topic of the thread was the final score. Someone can always just start a thread entitled ā€œOnly good thoughts about Totilas, the greatest horse in the history of everything.ā€
