There is an AQHA Trail Challenge in Freeland, MD on June 9 that is open to all breeds - no AQHA membership required. Check the AQHA website for more info, or google it. I think I’m going to give it a try! You can take an unjudged “buddy horse” and rider to accompany you if you want to go in a pair. I’m looking for someone to buddy up with - my mare is good on trails but would really benefit from having a buddy.
