Trail Riding in Colorado

CANTER Colorado has a new addition. He is a 4 year old bay gelding from California. He has conformational issues that limit his ability to jump. As we have gotten to know him over the last month, this young boy has a wonderful personality. He is looking for a loving home and he is beautiful to look at. He is simply a “love bug!” He’s been exposed to trail rides in Golden with tractors, wildlife, and more. He’s been ponied on these trails and has shown great resistance to spooking.

Our vet said today that he will make a wonderful (non competitive) trail horse. My question is, where do I market a beautiful, young, trail riding prospect in Colorado?

On your Canter website. I don’t see him there…

It would be helpful if you would post a link here. Then, people could see him and give you an informed opinion.

Craigslist?

Horse Connection
Paper ads at all the local feed stores and tack stores
Dreamhorse.com
equine.com

He will be posted soon! We want to put some light training in him first and expose him to trails with a rider on him and not just ponied. I will post a link soon.

I was wondering if trail riding enthusiasts had a special website they used to look for their next prospect.
