Trail riding in Poconos?

My family and some friends are on vacation for the week in the Poconos (Albrightsville PA) and though I know trail strings can be hit or miss, I’m hoping to do a ride with my friends, a mix of experienced and novice riders. I don’t expect to do more than an hour nose to tail walk but does anyone have any recommendations of a trail string that takes good care of their horses? That’s really my only concern- I’d hate to show up and patronize a place that doesn’t care for them.

It looks like the ones near us are Deer Path Riding Stables, Mountain Laurel Riding Stables, and Mountain Creek Riding Stables.

I’ve been reading Google reviews but it’s hard to get a read on reality from folks who are not horse savvy.

Where should we go? Open to going a little bit further too if there’s a better option! TIA!

No suggestions but some of the most fun in my life were the summers I gave trail rides in the Poconos!

I worked at a camp that is no longer in business and all of my contacts are beyond dated. But good luck and have a blast!
