Trailer manufacturers - are these similar quality?

Looking for a two or 2+1 GN all aluminum, werm floor, not necessarily a wb sized but 7’ height min.

How do these brands rank for quality?

4star
Adam
Cimmaron
EBY
Elite

I am not familiar with eBy or Adam, so I will not compare them. For the rest, 4Star and Elite are top notch, as far as finish and attention to details are concerned. Cimmaron is a very good solid trailer, just not as finished as 4Star or Elite. You will go no wrong with any of these three. Which one you pick depends on your budget and some minor difference in configuration offered by each. When we were choosing our trailer, we settled with Elite because it offered better show price (at the AQHA world show), and we didn’t like the butt bar at 4Star.

I would put cimmaron and eby at the top and 4 star, elite, below that, and Adam at the bottom.

Every cimmaron I ever saw was top of the line (and priced like it, too). Trainer has an older elite 4 horse slant and I do NOT like many things about t but the build quality is fine.

Really? Interesting. For several years in a row (2010~2014), we have checked out just about all trailers displayed at AQHA world shows, and 4Star and Elite has come up on top of cimmaron each time. Perhaps the older Elite wasn’t as nice?

I would say Eby, Elite, and 4 Star are top of the line and comparable. Adam is not a bad trailer either, but we recently looked at a Cimmeron and we’re not impressed!

Love the 4Star and Cimmerons. I have a Turnbow right now that i have been super happy with the quality and construction. It is for sale as I’m moving up to a 2+1 with LQ. if you are interested in any info PM me. 2h straightload, 7’6" high. don’t want this to be an ad so leaving it at that.

My BO had a 4Star and switched to an EBY. She likes the EBY better. Both are nice trailers. I have never seen a Cimmaron or seen an Elite up close so can’t comment on them. I don’t care for the Adams.

I have a Cimmaron 2+1 that is a little over a year old. I had the trailer made to my specifications and even toured the plant in Oklahoma before it was made. It is a nice trailer and pulls like a dream. The horses travel very well in it and love unloading off the side ramp. I had a 3 horse slant Jamco before this one. I would have loved to buy a Jamco 2+1 but it was just too pricey. I also considered a 4 star and an Elite and they are both very, very nice trailers. I just felt the price/feature/quality ratio was better with the Cimmaron for me. We also had a very bad hail storm last summer and my truck got trashed as did a Sooner and a Featherlite trailer parked next to me but my Cimmaron didn’t have a dent on it. I don’t think you can go wrong with a 4 star, Elite, or Cimmaron.
