I have found the trailer I want to purchase but it is far away from where I live. With the price of gas dropping, I am hoping that I can ship it for a reasonable price. Can anyone recommend a good shipper? It’s a 2 horse gooseneck trailer and I am on the East Coast.
I would find a trailer dealer near you and ask them who ships their trailers out to them. Or see if they are ordering any new trailers and see if you can hitch a ride along with one of theirs. That way you can split the cost of shipping assuming its near where they are going. The trailer dealer that I bought my trailer from lined up a couple of other trailers with mine so that the total cost of shipping was split by 3 trailers which made it much, much more reasonable.
