Trailering post hock injections?

Planning to have my horse’s hocks x-rayed and possibly injected in the next couple of months. I typically haul out to a vet about 1.5-2 hours away for non-routine care. I’m going to take him out there for the x-rays regardless (significantly less expensive than local vet per image). I was wondering if it is safe to haul immediately after injections or if it would be better to have the injections done on-farm by our local vet?

Disclaimer: I will ask the vet about this when I call to schedule the x-rays. Just looking to see if anyone has hauled out for injections and what their experience was.

Have the most experienced injector handle the hocks. “Immediate” leave is waiting for sedation to wane enough to safely haul . No biggie. Best wishes.

I almost always haul to my vet clinic for injections and have never had an issue. Nor have I ever had the clinic vet question the post-injection haul.

You are fine with a 90 minute haul after the sedation wears off after hock injections.
