Are there any Dressage trainers in Apple Valley, Victorville, or Hesperia Ca? I do not have a trailer, I could pay for gas to be trailered out if you are willing, or I could pay for you to come to me along with the lesson fee.
There’s a whole dressage group… the High Desert CDS. Go to the California Dressage Society web site for information. Several good clinicians go there regularly, and there are several trainers in the area as well. I lived up there for many years.
I Looked through the trainers none are close enough for me to afford gas and the lesson fee.
There are some trainers who will give feedback from videos if you can get someone to film you. I think many more would consider this if approached about it. Another thing to consider is learning from videos. Frequently these can be shared among friends. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestions. I went on a ride yesterday, a friend told me there was a Dressage trainer not far from her. The trainer isnt far from her but its a 3 hour ride to the trainer, going by way of timbuktu to avoid most of the main road and particularly one big hill that people speed over at 60mph.
I will talk to a couple trainers and see if I can e-mail videos.

If I may ask, Would you be able to work in a roping arena? Unfortunately the ranch where I am at is not equipped for english or Dressage riders.
A friend of mine, Gay McCall, is a dressage rider in Redlands. She can work in a roping arena.

If you can get another person interesting in clinicing, it would help make it worth her drive.
Tiffany Beck is in Pinon Hills and is a good dressage trainer, too.
