Trainer in Va or Md for draft hilltopper

Looking for a trainer who understands drafts to work with a 6 yo percheron paint and take her out hilltopping. She is for sale, so a trainer who runs a sales barn is OK. I’m most concerned with giving the horse the skills to be marketable forever, so she has a better chance of not ending up in a bad place. Mare is presently in Upperville.

Thanks!

Thanks Carol!
Is she particularly partial to drafts?

I know several people who have had excellent results from Dave’s training (in fact, everyone I know who has had him work with their horse(s) have been very happy). He will also come to your barn and give you a free evaluation/assessment of your horse if within a reasonable distance from Culpeper. Not sure how far “reasonable” is, but he’ll gladly let you know. He’s a really nice guy, excellent trainer, and very experienced with drafts.
