This trainer has two horses I’d like to keep tabs on, and I’m wondering if anyone is familiar with him or their owner, Joyce E. Brown. The horses are Determinator (4yo gelding) and Skeleton Key (3yo colt), full brothers to each other and half-brothers to a friend’s retired gelding. Even if I can’t take one myself, I want to help make sure they land softly when they’re done racing.
Does anyone here have contact info for Michael Grace or any knowledge of him as a trainer? Determinator was awful with a previous trainer (dead last or DNF in every race) and has made a remarkable turnaround with Grace (3 wins and a place in 7 starts). Skeleton Key just made his first start yesterday with the same connections, I’m guessing their breeder sold him at the same time as Determinator.
