Would appreciate referrals for a correct dressage trainer within 100 miles of Montgomery to send a young horse to for training. Horse is schooling Training level but needs more experience. Thanks!

Susan Wainwright at Foxwood Farms is wonderful. Very correct, very soft rider. Active in the Southeast show scene (dressage and eventing). She’s in Pike Road, 10-20 minutes outside of Montgomery depending on where you’re coming from. Nice facility, great care. Website is foxwoodfarms.biz
Judy Pirtle is a genius with any horse and makes a rider correct as well. Has a farm in Tuskegee, just down I85 from Montgomery - less than an hour. She is just the best.
