Hi all, sorry to post a redundant topic… but who’s currently based in or within 45 minutes of Lexington? I’m asking for two reasons: 1) in the context of training and board, and 2) to find who might have event horses for lease or sale.
I know there are more programs than I’m finding, and I’d really like to know all my options! My favorite trainers are ones I found through word of mouth/connections, versus being on the first page of a Google search, you know?

I’ve heard amazing things about Megan Edwards. A couple of girls (now women) I grew up riding with/in parallel to have been loyal to her for years.
I also really appreciate her eye for the horses she chooses to bring in to her program.
David Koss he is in Cynthiana, about a 1/2 hr from the horse park. he’s an awesome coach and really cool!, Beth Brown and her daughter Maddie Temken are about 10 minutes from the horse park. They are great coaches and are super nice. They have an indoor ring and a gorgeous facility.
