Looking to possibly relocate to Roanoke/Lexington/Charlottesville Virginia area and am curious if there is a dressage scene in any of those areas. I use to event so I’m open to event trainers as well. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
I ride with Jontelle Forbus. She’s a bit Southwest if Charlotesville and is great. Bruno Greber is Crozet (I believe) Thorsten Kramer is in Gordonsville. And if you go up 29 into the plains and Nova there are lots of trainers. You’ve got lots of choices in the Cville area. Further west, I’m not so sure.

George Williams has recently re-located to just south of Charlottesville.
For eventing there is Will Coleman in Gordonsville, and Kim Severson in Scottsville.
Charlottesville also has a chapter of the Virginia Dressage Association.
Rebecca Schurink, a GP rider, who was for many years dressage instructor at Mt Holyoke. is in Grottoes, Va
