Trainers near Indianapolis with lesson horses

I know this topic has been covered a million times, and yes, I have used the search function, but I thought I’d go ahead and start a new thread and see if I could get some new leads.

I need a trainer in the Indianapolis area ( within about a 45 minute or so radius from downtown) with lesson horses that are at least 3rd level. I’ve talked to Ken Levy at Legacy Farm and am planning on seeing the farm this weekend but he said he only has lesson horses up to second level.

I’m guessing that my best bet is going to be doing a half lease but that’s just not in the budget right now. I’m just planning on doing once a week lessons and no plans of showing any time soon. So, to get to the point- are there any barns relatively close to me that have what I’m looking for? If I could even find an owner who’d be willing to let me use their horse for lessons, that would work too. I would only be riding once a week and always in a lesson.

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Ken Levy is the only Dressage instructor in town that has school horses,as far as I know. I have observed his lessons, and FWIW, he is very, very good, IMHO. The old TB schoolmaster, Tommy, is a sweetie.

Unfortunately, we’re not exactly a dressage stronghold around here.

There’s also Nancy Kleiner, based out of Bloomington, too, but I am not aware that she had lesson horses (never hurts to ask).
