For this guy Phil Price to say he doesn’t know the rules and can only afford $50 a week or was it month to pay off fines is outrageous. He was trading in New England back 10+ years when I was doing rescue . He had accepted free race horses promising good homes then selling to slaughter. I still am furious about a pony he asked me to buy saying it was too nice to go to slaughter. He wanted 8xs what the pony would have brought by the pound and at least 3xs open market price IF the pony was sound and rideable. I couldn’t ‘save’ the sweet but not well put together pony. He probably went to New Holland. Price is banned from New Holland. One down…how many to go???

He was horse trading in MA in the early '80s, if not earler.

Yup, he’s been around forever.

and all over!

It appears to me that Doreen Weston is a fine, upstanding horseperson, too. Gave lessons on the mare for 15 years, and when she was too old and decrepit to keep working couldn’t be bothered to give her a dignified, humane ending via veterinary euthanasia because she “didn’t want to deal with it”. Nice.

he is still trading, thinks the conviction is no big deal like his last cruelty conviction.

I don’t know him but i know people who do.

guessing he will have someone else drop them off at new holland for him now.
