Tredstep Pro G2 Half Chap Fit

Hello!

I am wondering if anyone has any info to share on the fit of the Pro G2s.

I am looking to purchase a pair, and trying to decide between the 13/18 or 14/18. My calf measures 14 inches at the widest part, however I am worried that after wearing them a few times they will stretch out too much. I like my half chaps quite snug. I just don’t know how much they do or do not stretch. I would rather have them “too tight” at the beginning, but nicely snug afterwards, than fitting “perfectly” when I get them, only to have them stretch out and be too big.

If anyone has any input, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you!

If these are the leather ones that zip up the back and look like boots I have them. Don’t recall what size. They were quite snug when I first bought them and have remained so. There is leather covered elastic in the back on either side of the zipper. My only complaint is that I wish the leather was stiffer so they remained looking more like a tall boot. Love the Tredstep half chaps.

I’ve had two pair of Tredstep half chaps… LOVE them.
I am petite with short legs and the 14/14 fit me perfectly.

Mine are the ‘Original suede’ … with the side zip … and neither pair stretched very much, if at all.

Yes Shenandoah, they are the ones with the zipper up the back that look like tall boots. I’m happy to hear they have remained snug! I think I’ll go with the 14/18.
