I used to be a member of the sadly long gone Tri County Hounds many years ago. Just wondered if there were any of the old members on this board.
If so would love to touch base and share memories…those were the days.
Yes I know this is an old post and hope you get this pj. I use to hunt with them about 1966-1969 when I sold my horse. I love hunting and wish I could have stayed with them. I remember Val Betty(think was the last name) and her horse Bandar. I know that Val passed away in 2012 when I saw her obituary when sometimes I looked thru them in the AJC. Anyway Im Jane (Franklin) Bell. Hope to get to talk to you soon and see who you are. I know some initials pj, but do not remember if there was more than one person with those in the hunt.
I hunted with Val for many years and always admired her knowledge, gracious help, and her home bred gorgeous mares. They were 1/2 TB, 1/4 QH and 1/4 draft. Black as cole. Sprout and Squirt I think. She once lent me a tape of foxhounds in full cry to play for my horses.
