Tribute Kalm N EZ Pelleted

Does anyone have the quart to pound conversion for Tribute Kalm N EZ Pelleted?

.85 qt = 1 lb. for most pelleted feeds I believe

IME most pelleted feeds are in the 1-1.5lb/qt range, with a few lighter, I don’t know if there are any heavier.

But the best thing is to take 1qt of the feed you have, put it in a plastic bag, and if you don’t have a scale at home that can measure that low weight, take it to the grocery store and weigh it on a produce scale. You can do that for each scoop or tupperware-like container you use to scoop feeds with, and write on them how much of anything you feed weights when full, or 1/2 full.

For example, I have a 3c plastic container which holds 1lb of the ration balancers I’ve used, and a bigger container which holds 2.5lb of TC Sr.

Go to Walmart and buy a cheap kitchen scale.

Or order one for less than $10 from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Digital-Kitchen-Scale-Food-Multifunction/dp/B01JTDG084/ref=lp_289787_1_4/132-8437246-6852431?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1498339720&sr=1-4

Why guess when it’s cheap and easy to KNOW?

My three-quart scoops full average about 2.8 lbs when I measure them (I have a scale).

Pretty sure it’s 1.25 lbs to 1 quart.
