Tribute Senior Sport- anyone tried it? Reviews and feedback?

I’m currently feeding Kalm Ultra since both of my local feed store carry it and there’s a convenience factor:) But I saw this in the store and was interested in the lower NSC (16.5% vs 23.5%) and that there’s alfalfa as the first ingredient and all of mine get added alfalfa cubes. Would love to hear if anyone else has been feeding it and what their experience has been. This is for 2 5yo TBs eventing and 1 senior TB hardkeeper.

I just started the switch from Purina Senior on the advice of a long time horsewoman who I trust…so following this thread!

I switched to it about a month ago! So far I’m really happy with it. I wanted to try it to see if it would give my older gelding a little more “oomph” than his TC Senior, and so far it seems to be doing the trick. He gets 2.5lbs of Senior Sport with a pound of Enrich+ ration balancer. I was a bit terrified to switch from TC Senior because my horse has had issues with choke in the past, but the Senior Sport soaks really well and we haven’t had any issues (knock on wood). He licks his feed bucket clean, so no palatability issues either, though he’s not super picky.

ETA: Having also fed Kalm Ultra in the past, I would give it a try. It’s a different texture to the KU, but lower NSC is always a good bet in my book.

I’ve been feeding it to two older horses for about three months. I like it. They like it and look good on it. TB mare needed to gain some weight and it has done the trick.
