Trilogy Verago Tree Sizing

I’m trying to find a used, deep seat, dressage saddle to fit my TB. I’m looking at Trilogy Veragos, but I’d like some opinions on the tree sizing. Do they run big or small?

My guy is currently in a NM County jumping saddle. It definitely runs large and fits like a medium. I’m using a medium Prestige 2000 right now and it fits him small? ??? Seriously, what is it with saddle sizing!?

I was looking for a medium in the Trilogy, but I can’t find one to save my life, they’re all MW. Then one site I visited said they run small- more toward the medium end… So? Thoughts and opinions?

Also, seat size- do I go up or down with deep seat?

I have 2 Veragos both with MW trees. My horses are 16.3 and 17.3 warmbloods. Not small boys but not hugely wide so IME the trees are true to size.

IMHO, the Verago runs a half size small in the seat. The Amadeo feels true to size. I think the trees also run small - but since brands are really all over the place, it’s kind of hard to say.

I found the Trilogy to run small as well. Trilogy fitter put him in an XW, while he was in a medium tree County Innovation (which runs large!). That was for both the Verago and the Amadeo IIRC – the latter model is the one that I bought for him. And tree size doesn’t correlate with horse height, I have found. My shortest is the widest of all!
