Trinity Stables and other boarding barns in Laurel MD area

Does anyone have any experience with this barn in Burtonsville, MD? The location is good for me but I don’t know anyone who’s been there or knows anything about it. I need to move my gelding into a barn with an indoor for the winter to rehab an injury and am finding that most of the places I’ve contacted are full.

I live in the Columbia/Elkridge area and am trying to get the barn commute under 20 minutes—I already spend a lot of time getting to and from the office every day and don’t have the stomach for an hour round-trip to the barn 5-6 days a week all winter after an 11 hour work day. :no:

I know someone who used to board there. I think their biggest complaint was lack of turnout. If the fields were wet, or it might rain or snow, the horses stayed in to “save” the fields. I think at one point they were stalled for a few weeks in a row. They left this barn about 3 years ago, so hopefully things have improved. It would definitely be something to ask about if you visit.

Thank you! That’s good to know for sure. It is a small acreage (under 20) for a boarding facility, so I’m not very surprised.
