At what height do course designers introduce triple combinations? At 0.9, 1.0, or 1.10 m?
I’m talking about high level shows. For those of you out west, I’m thinking Thunderbird’s big shows.
Usually not until 1.10m.
I’ve seen them at 1.0m, it really seems to depend on the course designer. At a weeklong show, for the lower levels you’ll usually see the triple combination, if used, introduced on the weekend or just for the mini prix or jumper medal.
I’ve done one or two at a meter. But way more common at 1.1 m.
I think the one that had the triple also had a liverpool…
I show at tbird a lot. They do a triple in the “my first GP” class at all heights, and other special classes. Then for regular classes, I do think it’s 1.10+.
Here’s the most recent “fun” class at tbird with a triple
I just did my first big show and did the 1.0m classes with no triples, and then did one 1.10m class that indeed had triples
