Trouble finding 16.5 Albion Dressage Saddle

Hello! I had a saddle fitter come out today to measure for my short backed TB. My daughter then tried some saddles and was a nice fit in the Albion Platinum. Problem is we need a 16.5 and I’m wondering if Albion even made that saddle in that size as I’ve googled to the high heavens and haven’t come up with anything. Anyone know? Or have one laying around they want to sell? Hahaha!

If you know the tree size and all, you might try this place. I contacted them a couple years ago about buying a Black Country, and they were willing to work with me, but unfortunately the saddler was not (and a disclaimer was subsequently added to the website that they cannot export BC). I am assuming you are in the US?

I got a used Albion from Pelham Saddlery years ago. A++ on their customer service, and the saddles come with a reasonable trial period.

Here’s one:

Thank you - but that one says “Albion Style”?? I’m not sure what that means but I don’t think it’s a Platinum.

Talk with Ann Forrest at Equestrian Imports, she is a long time Albion dealer.

Hastilow has an Albion Platinum Ultima in 16.5. Not cheap but you can order it. I don’t know the difference between Platinum and Platinum Ultima

The “Style” is an older model.
Platinum refers to the interchangeable tree and panel system available on several models (but not the Style).

Try Pelham Saddlery. They were an Albion dealer years ago before Albion changed their distribution method. Check out their website. They have hundreds of saddles in the store. Very reliable organization with a trial period, fitters to help you, and good customer service. I bought 2 Albions from them years ago. I have a consignment special order Original Comfort dressage saddle and my first Albion, a GP900, is owned by a barn buddy. Both were built around 1999 and are in excellent condition.
