TRT Method sale ends Friday

Tristan Tucker’s TRT Method training videos are usually on a monthly subscription, but every so often there’s a “lifetime access” sale and they have one going on now.

$300 for all of it! Or you can spread payments out over a year, though it costs more that way.

Think of it as X hourly lessons if you wish. I think of it more as patronage because I want him to continue to produce this kind of content.

This should work… https://www.trtmethod.com/trt-10k-sign-up/your-special-offer/ (If not, find the Facebook page and there should be an ad on it.)

I signed up on Monday, and started doing some exercises with my new guy. I’m really enjoying the program. I audited a clinic with him a few years ago and found it super interesting, but didn’t get quite enough of the how out of it to implement anything useful in my program.

I got a lifetime subscription a few years ago, and it’s been worth the money. He keeps adding content that lifetime members don’t have to pay any additional money for, which is nice. This summer he released young horse starting videos exactly when I needed them. I need to teach my horse the magic mounting thing!

Ah… I will have to watch for a lifetime subscription offer – I’ve bought lifetime access before to the existing content, and just did it again to pick up all the newer stuff.

I don’t mind sending some money his way occasionally though. Just think if this really caught on, how much safer the lower level warmup ring would be!!!

I just signed up. I enjoy watching his YouTube videos and hope to use the training modules.

Thanks! I was torn between buying his content and Warwick Schiller’s… maybe I’ll have to do both!

Do you know if TRT has a mobile app too?

I don’t think there’s an actual app to download, but I have no trouble accessing content from my phone (I’m rarely on my laptop, if ever) through the website, it’s formatted as a web app once you log in. The ‘community’ forum part is a little confusing to navigate for me, but I don’t spend a lot of time in there.

I really appreciate the way Tristan handles the horses, and the logical approach to teaching horses body awareness and self control; I also enjoy his sense of humor! My twerpy pony is a bit of a slow learner, so we haven’t progressed super fast in the two months or so I’ve had access, but I look forward to getting into some of the more advanced lessons later. I like that there are usually several videos for one lesson, where he does the exercise with different types of horses - more and less reactive, green vs experienced, etc. It helps visualize what you want to do with your type of horse.

The fun videos are great additions too… I’m looking forward to teaching mine the mounting block exercise.

I’ve used some techniques from both. I think they are complimentary.

Maybe I didn’t phrase that correctly, but whatever I paid for ~4 years ago seems to be getting me access to the new content. I have not paid another dime, but got all the starting under saddle stuff that was released this summer.

I just got an email as I was reading this that Warwick has just put out a podcast with Tristan.

Yep, I’m looking forward to listening.

I haven’t seen an app for TRT but the website with the training content is very mobile-friendly. You can make a ‘bookmark’ icon for a specific site, on iPhone at least, so it looks like an app icon but it really opens a browser to that page, to make it easier to access.

I go back and forth between Warwick Schiller and Tristan Tucker’s stuff. They are very complimentary.

Nope, that makes sense! I think you bought in early when they were running better promotions. Now that he’s more popular he doesn’t have to give as much away! I had paid $150 or so a couple of years ago, but that hadn’t unlocked the newer stuff like the young horse training, which I wanted to see.

I stopped going to the hair salon during These Strange Times so I figure I’m just spending that money on horse videos now.
