Truck and trailer friendly gps

It’s almost time for me to trek south for the winter, and I began thinking about my route.

Who has found a good gps app for the truck and trailer? I have a 4 star 4 horse head to head plus tack room so those goofy detours that google and Waze sometimes suggest are clearly a no go for me. Is this an option in my Chevy Silverado 3500 diesel navigation that I don’t know about? I think I would just feel better having this available even though I know my way south safely.

We purchased a GPS meant for 18 wheelers and you can even input the size of your truck and length of trailer, height and weight into it. It ensures that it wont take you on routes with low bridges etc. Its been great! I ordered it off of Amazon last year and mounted it in our truck and used it for one year. Sometimes it picks some funny routes, but no back roads etc.
We found some at some large truck stops as well.
