Trying to get back into horses has been a big fail, not sure what I'm doing wrong

Much of the issue is financial viability. To spend thousands and thousands of dollars keeping trained horses around for people who might potentially show up looking for lessons. If you really want to get back in the horses, the best thing might be to find a part-time job where you can get your foot in the door, and then look for rides that way. Join a local horse association and volunteer at events. Find other ways to get involved in the industry before you go looking for rides.

It isn’t that financially viable
for business owners to keep horses sitting around on the off chance that somebody walks in the door and wants to ride them.
