TS vs RJ breeches sizing?

Does anyone have any experiences with how these compare? I finally think I’ve admitted to myself that TS is no longer worth the money. I typically wear low rise but I tried a pair of mid-rise RJ on a few years ago and found them uncomfortably tight in the waist. Has anyone found that to be true in the low rise styles as well? Are the regular length longer than TS? I wear regular length TS but only because the long sizes seem to fit completely differently, I could definitely use more length.

Any experiences are appreciated!

I can’t speak to TS because I don’t wear them, but I do find RJ to be cut a little more slender than other brands in the thigh, hip, and seat. I’m a pretty solid 30 across the board but I’m sending a pair of Gulfs back to exchange for a 32, which should be just right.

They do come in lengths. I didn’t measure it, but eyeing it up on where they fell on my leg, and comparing to my rather expansive collection of leggings, I’d bet that the Gulf has about a 25" inseam in the regular length.

Thanks! I did see a few reviews that said they were a little tight in the hips but since I’m not curvy at all I wasn’t sure if it was enough to size up or not. The color I want looks like it’s seasonal and is only available in my regular TS size… maybe I should just order them with the sales this weekend and hope for the best!

I have both, I always get midrise. Low rise do not work for my body shape, too much junk in the trunk for that. I find the TS to be my better and more comfortable fit. they stay up better on their own compared to the RJs. I feel like I have to constantly pull the RJs up. I cannot speak to length as I am short and always get regular pants and hope they’re not too long…

An update if anyone searches this later. Beautiful pants, a bit longer than TS and about the same fit… up until the waist. I could barely button them and I usually have things falling off my waist! I’ll be returning but I may try a size up if I can find them on sale.
