Tuff Rider Thermo Manager Blanket- How do they run?

Feedback on how big/small/true to size the Tuff Rider Thermo Manager Blankets run. Anyone washed one? Amount of shrinkage?

I really like these blankets but they only go up to size 84. I have a BIG HORSE. He wears an 84 or 87 in Rambo turnouts. He is both long and wide. I do not generally buy him ANYTHING non-turnout smaller than 86/87 because with shrinkage-- they end up being too small. I feel like the Manager Blanket is exactly what I am looking for-- but I am really worried about buying an 87 and it being too small.

They run at least a size big. The neck opening is especially long. I don’t recall that the drop is super long, but the chest to butt length definitely is. They are nice and wash beautifully!

I have it in an 84 and had to get a seamstress to reposition the chest closures to make the neck not gape open. I agree about the neck opening being huge. Until I did that it would cause the blanket to slide back and pull

They run big-especially in the chest! My guys both wear 84s but I have them in 78 & 81 thermomanagers

They run very big in the chest. I bought a 76 for my horse that wears a 78 and it was so big I has to sell it. It was even big on the horses that wore 80 & 81’s.

Agree, they run quite large. I do love these blankets. They are super for after bathing and can be handy as a stable sheet, anti-sweat, or blanket liner. They also wash well and dry quickly.

I LOVE mine - they run large in the chest - EXACTLY what my dude needed!!! I’ve never had a TuffRider blanket/anything before, but I may keep ordering their stuff for my dude as it’s the only thing that fits him right.
