TuffRider "parwantis" have ruined me!
I have the same problem with mine. I’ll have to try this!
It only happens on my right boot - I suspect it’s because my right calf is beefier than my left  The left boot has never unzipped, but I do the shoelace loop through the keeper trick on both sides. For ~$90 and only this one problem, these boots are definitely worth it, especially for those of us on a grad student budget!

On a slightly unrelated note, @LucilleBluth, your username makes me happy. “It’s one banana Michael, what could it cost? Ten dollars?”

Yay! She’s my favorite character ever and ALWAYS makes me laugh!

You can buy the Ariat Cobalt insoles and put them into your regular boots. It does make a difference. (or if you have good running shoes insoles or Dr. Scholls, it can work too.)
Be sure to cut them correctly!

She pretty much is my grandmother. Christmas is always a hoot.

The Volant footbed is what’s ruined me for all other boots. I both show (Volant S) and school (Sport V) in Volant boots because I just can’t bear to ride in anything else any more…
Yes! I have a pair of Volant Paddock Boots - fantastic foot support. I have never tried on a pair of their tall boots. Not a real fan of their look. My issue, not theirs!

i had bad luck with mine, the zippers broke after maybe 6 months of wear (1 horse 3-5x per week). they looked terrible and worn too. i bought volants on ebay for less than 150$ on ebay and i love them so far

I am a jumper rider these days - but I must say that the Volant S is pretty conservative all things considered. Looks similar to a normal dress boot with a little heftier sole.

Not conservative, but not like the Volants of yore, either!

I like your style, AmmyByNature  I have many pairs of boots, but you have to pry me out of my Volant S and Sport V boots!

I also think the Volant S boots are pretty conservative. Here are mine in action. My only complaint is that they don’t shine up enough to really be nice enough for the hunters and/or the big ring.
