Turns out I actually needed *one more* pony. But now I'm definitely done

This is actually a Rational Decision, because I determined to have a pair.

Alas, Nigel is pretty lukewarm on the driving gig. He’s much happier being a between -leases dressage pony for my friend*.

Thus the acquisition of a second hairy pony mare, who is only two, but has a very nice personality, and will** become a pair with Josie in a few years, leaving Darby as a single and Nigel in his preferred career***.

*Or she could ride him forever, should she realize that ponies are actually more fun than big horses.

**Deities of hairy ponies willing

***A pity, since he’s quite cute in harness, and moves like Darby

There is something missing from this post…

It’s against COTH policy to mention the word “pony” and not post pictures. :grinning:

She’s in the awkward, gawky 2 year old phase:

But I have every hope that she will be bootylicious like the big girls in a few years:

She is lovely! She has a kissable nose and love her color. Seal brown is my absolute favorite horse color.
Looks like she will be gifted in the luscious locks category.

She’s very sweet and snuggly

 & they say Chicken Math is crazy!
Congrats on Josie’s Partner-to-Be :ok_hand:

After helping a friend hitch her mini mare pair, my hat’s off to you!
How does a 2nd set of harness seem to make the team set have about 500 pieces?
