One violation was for excessive spur causing blood, the other for excessive use of the whip which caused blood.
The second horse is allowed to come back for the team qualifier on Tuesday.

Looks like Zirocco Blue has been moved to fourth in the rotation for the Dutch riders. The chef must be hoping that he gets three solid clears and doesn’t have to start him. Either that or they are backstage frantically painting their reserve horse (London!) white.
