Two-knot hairnets?

I have no idea what you like, but happened to know that industrial suppliers sell 2 knot hairnets. A quick google turned up this; https://riders-boutique.com/products/beval-heavy-weight-hair-nets
https://beval.com/products/beval-british-hair-nets-medium-weight
I’m sure if you tried a bit harder you could find something suitable :slightly_smiling_face:

I do not know about the OP here, but I do know that Google hates some people. Me included.

I can sit right next to someone, we both type in the same search, and they get answers and I get stuff that does not answer the question.

I assume people asking about finding something looked, did not find it, and want some help. Not finding it does not mean they did not try to find it.

The ponytail hair nets? Yes, I got them in a subscription box awhile back. I find them a little tricky to get the hair over my ears look because of the way you need to put the hairnet on (elastic at forehead and then pull back/over head to ponytail.) Otherwise they’re comfortable, and if you regularly ride in a pony/braid they are much less bulky under the helmet.

Thanks. With the newer helmets that don’t necessarily have a lot of coverage in the back, I have trouble getting the extra hairnet out of the way, also without putting the rear knit somewhere uncomfortable. I thought this might help even though I don’t wear my hair down a lot.

it will definitely do that. I find the opening lies flat against the head, and you just pull your ponytail through. I use them with my OneK helmet (why I think I’m important enough to have more than one helmet is another discussion) that his a tighter fit and they are very comfortable and low profile in the back under the helmet harness.

To be clear, I did find most of what all of you have shared on google. My question is whether i should buy up those 5-10 tack stores that still have inventory in this product, or whether there is a permanent solution that I can order the next time I happen to need hairnets and not fret about it.

I want to thank everyone for contributing on this thread. The fact that we can have a conversation about scrounging around the country, or world, for the precise preferred hairnet is seriously worth a laugh! Yes, I have a preference as well, so yes, I am part of it! And a funny story…

Years ago, I was talking ringside with a friend from work who rode with a different trainer. I was describing losing my hairnet, or not being able to find it, but managed to stop at Walgreen’s and buy one on the way to the show.

She told me, “[her trainer] doesn’t let us wear that kind. We have to wear [fancy, exclusive brand].”.

Hey, I am all about MY preference. Yeah! But at that time, I was amazed about this conversation… really, the brand of hairnet? Dictated? Ok, that’s a strong barn culture, for sure!

Thanks for the tips about where to source these and our good buddy Amazon as an option. I would not have considered that. I hate having my hair in my face. Wear one every ride now.

Yes you do.

Aerborn was dissolved in 2017.

The Harpley ones are sold in most tack shops in the UK.
