U.S. Dressage Development Coach

I saw that USEF just made a formal announcement of the opening for applications for Dressage Development Coach since Charlotte Bredahl is stepping down.

Of course, they are also searching for a new Dressage Technical Advisor since Debbie McDonald has stepped down.

It will be interesting to see who is selected to fill these roles.

So does anyone want to speculate on likely candidates for these positions?

I know George Williams will be chef d’equipe for the Pan Am Games but I wonder if he would be interested in taking on the more demanding role of Technical Advisor.

And who might be a good candidate for the Development Coach position?

Interesting that there are now two openings. Would seem to me that the candidates will be those who have either stopped competing themselves or are willing to step away. One name that flashed into my head would be Jan Ebeling. He is still competing but might be willing to step away. Also I wonder if they will get any non-US applications.

Probably not while the sexual assault civil case he and his family are a party to is still unresolved.
