Well done team!

That ring is just gorgeous. Laura Kraut is a class act. I feel bad for the Brits watching their former team horse going 0-0 with McLain after some bad luck for their side. All round great day for Ridland and crew.
I can’t really feel “bad” for them. They sold the horse. No doubt for a very pretty penny.
Anywhere to watch the GP tomorrow without Horse and Country?
I haven’t figured out any and I’m very sad because I think Ilex will be going.
I saw on the Rolex Series Instagram page that it will be free on their website:
www.rolexseries-equestrian.com
Not sure if I am going to watch or not. I’ll decide in the morning.
Thank you! I believe it starts at 6:30 am.
Is the live stream working for anyone else? I just keep getting the spinning circle on the black screen.
Now working for me after a dodgy start.
The live stream is not working for me yet, but it looks like you can watch individual rounds on this site, which is certainly better than nothing.
Geez, Karl and Caracole with 8, Lillie and Argan with 9, and Mclain and Ilex retired. I would say it’s a tough course, but there are also 9 clears including Laura and Bisquetta!
I imagine Mclain retired because they had a rail or two and weren’t likely to place, so he wanted to save Ilex’s legs.
Laura’s round was a masterclass in finesse.
She was flying around the jump off, but it just caught up with her at the double.
Yuri Mansur just said Miss Blue has won four out of the seven 5-stars she has jumped. And I am giving the style prize to Rodrigo & Major Tom. He will have to ride that horse over to my house to collect it, however. Looks like Caracole was slipping but otherwise jumping well. That’s a heartbreaker. And Ilex was overjoyed that all those people came to see him, possibly TOO overjoyed.
I was not able to watch it, but looking at the results, she would have had the winning time by more than two seconds. Except for that pesky rail.
Thanks for the link. I was able to watch this morning. Pesky rail for Laura Kraut!
