Do you know is the yard ever open for people to come watch training?
I do know he has lots of visits from Pony Club groups and does things for charities but I don’t think he is regularly open for visitors. He is busy teaching, riding and it is his home too.

It is, or certainly used to be as I’ve been there - but I believe it’s for organised trips only.
The days are usually run by clubs or run as advertised open days by Carl & Charlotte.
I took a lot away from my visit - we got to see horses of all ages and abilities being worked with insights and anecdotes about them and their training, questions were welcomed and answered freely. We got a yard tour, met all the horses - cuddles with Valegro, Uti and Barney 
If you get the chance do go, it’s a really great experience.

Yes, the open days are fab. Lots of time to watch training/ask questions and pat all the ponies! I went to one that was organised by a local riding club.
