Going to see it next weekend if I can still get a ticket.
I’m going tomorrow night. Murphy, go online and buy your ticket, takes 5 minutes.

The book if shipped UPS Postal service may take a while to get to you… daughter ordered the book and it took eight days to come from College Station, Tx. to Ft Worth … they are using some book/printed material rate that is not much cheaper that standard 1st Class.
I may have to get the book - bundled with ‘The Faraway Horses’. I discovered today that the termites snuck into my shelving and ate my copy

Either way I’m looking forward to it.
Ben Masters thinks he is the star, actually Luke is :)… if you can go to a showing where they have Luke he is worth the trip. They had him on stage at the showing I saw, he would stand there, ears up look directly into the camera wait for the flash then turn to the next person

(After the filming of Unbranded at the 2013 Mustang Million contest in Ft. Worth, Luke was solid at auction to the O’Brien family of Tulsa, Oklahoma for $25,000, all proceeds went to the Mustang Heritage Foundation to promote more mustang adoptions… then after a few months the O’Briens gave Luke back to Ben Masters saying Luke belong to Ben)

Got my ticket online this morning for the showing in Ellensburg. I’ve been showing ponies at the Central Washington State Fair for the past week with no internet access. I don’t have one of those fancy phones and by the time I got home each night and finished chores it was around 1 am and I wasn’t up to turning the pc on.
Went to see this last night and it was fabulous! I loved it and the scenery was beautiful. Watching this and seeing some of those scary trails, I couldn’t help thinking about the cameraman having to negotiate the trails while filming. Yikes! Now looking forward to seeing it again.
This is playing at my small local theater next week on my birthday, so I got tickets - can’t wait!
My site ,The Flying Shetlands, is hosting a screening of Unbranded tomorrow at the Rockaway Theater in NJ. Here is a link to my article on this spectacular movie and book here: ttps://theflyingshetlands.wordpress.com/2015/10/03/unbranded-documenting-3000-miles-on-horseback-and-the-ongoing-war-for-the-mustangs. I am donating all proceeds to Mylestone Equine Rescue (http://www.mylestone.org)

I was able to watch it at a local film festival, and I loved it! The movie is truly made for the big screen with the gorgeous, panoramic views and intense scenes. My uncle was the lead assistant editor for the movie, so it was also cool to get some ‘behind-the-scenes’ information. I highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.
The DVD is out now!!
and I bought it. I LOVE IT! Ive watched it a couple of time and these young guys did a great job. Also, watch the extras part of the DVD. Val gets dinner and will have you rolling on the floor laughing…
Val is my new hero - big thumbs up for me.
PS: I just got my BLM adopted Mustang started under saddle, and he has been the easiest, most agreeable colt Ive EVER started. IMO - These horses are quite superior, mentally and physically.
I downloaded it off of Amazon and really enjoyed it. Gosh I wish I had done something like that before life got in the way. The scenery is spectacular!
Yes, Val. What a great guy.
Thought I’d let people know, I just found Unbranded on Netflix streaming, under “New Arrivals” last night.
Saw this movie on Netflix last fall. As often with nature documentaries, I always wonder “where are the camera guys?” 'How did they get these shots??" The book showed up at my library last week so I’ve been going through it. Lovely coffee table type. Including interviews with the camera guys and producers. They busted their butts to get those shots. It’s fun to poke through.
Me too! The camera guys must be great…were they mounted?
I enjoyed it too, and am delighted it is on Netflix for my future pleasure. It was quite the journey!
