Heard about this company on the news this morning. Have any companies applied this technology in equestrian equipment yet? Helmets, vests, shirts, etc.? Seems like a natural application.
Has anyone used the halo or helmet insert in their riding helmet?
Yes.
Over a year ago I found the CRTexo skeleton pads on the internet and wanted to buy some for my helmet but as usual I procrastinated and never did it. So I just went to my bookmarks and found this:

My conclusion is that they’ve done some more testing and now are marketing the CRT pads as the domes and halos. This seems much better as before you had to buy the CRT stuff and it wasn’t easy to imagine how to use it in the helmet.
I think that I will now buy one of the domes for my helmet. Anything that helps to prevent a concussion is FABULOUS in my book. So glad they’ve improved on the original CRT.
