United Touch S

There was a sibling (half sibling?) at the LV championships a few weekends ago. I don’t remember the name, but it was so strikingly similar that I knew before they jumped the first fence they were related.

Maybe with any luck that one is still a stallion so us Americans can have a chance at breeding along that magnificent canter :grin:

I’d be curious to see a video of that one if you happen to recall the name. :slight_smile:

I was (kind of) wrong - I believe the horse I recalled was CC United (Untouchable), ridden by Britt Harley. The horse is a half-sibling of Untouched, who is United Touch S’s sire.

In any case, he was an eye-catcher for sure! I’ll have to try and find a video.

Only ICSI wondering if he has lousy swimmers

In the first post on this thread it looks like a spur scar on his right side. Lots of hair left in that area but it still looks like a substantial mark. I wonder if the horse still has that.

:heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Me either. SWOON :heart::heart::heart:

The course designer at the Europeans was fielding some flak about the number of clear rounds and he pointed to United Touch, Hello Folie and Ermitage Kalone and said essentially, what was I supposed to do? They were all jumping TOO good.
(From the Dutch press).

Hello Folie is one athletic horse. She can twist her body in ways you would not think were possible. Ermitage & United have endless loft and scope is Hello Folie is catty.

Sorry, he’s with Sophie Hinners.

Babywise, Horsetelex has United Touch as the father of 395 so far. A high percentage are jumping well. He got to shag Gancia de Muze! (She’s hot). And sadly the baby name Unbelievably Touchy is already spoken for.

As amazing as he is to watch via video, he’s even more amazing in person!

Okay but… Untouchable Muze has a nice ring to it.

I love Hello Folie. Imagine how incredible a United Touch S x Hello Folie pairing would be… Call it… Touch of Folie :joy:

For those unfamiliar with this supermare:

Agreed. I watched him in Paris at the Olympics and the stride he has is easily 16ft I think. And the scope! He’s a true unicorn :unicorn: :heart:

I love them both.
ETA: They just won the 2025 European Jumping Championships.

I’m obsessed with Hello Folie—the epitome of what a great mare can do!

On the topic of jumping ability, Horse Network ran this illuminating article on Leone Jei and I would love to see this guy’s analysis of United Touch. Plus the “hold my beer” had me in stitches.

Great article. Interesting to read his thoughts about how the horse uses his natural abilities.
