Looking on another thread it doesn’t seem that I am the only on having trouble with the PAID coverage of Universial sports. I can’t get past the AD (which I don’t think I paid for) to see the class. After the class I can’t get past the first 13 or so minutes. Really annoyed.
I had the same issue. I was regularly having to refresh the browser, wait a while, try refreshing again, etc. It’s taken about 4 hours for me to watch the hour and a half of coverage.
For the most part it would show the ad perfectly (which, btw, if we’re PAYING shouldn’t we be able to skip the ads?!) and then the actual coverage wouldn’t play- I’d just get a black screen. So I’d rinse and repeat, watch the same annoying commercial about the shoe over again and hope for the best.
It also cut off and just ended before the last ride, so I couldn’t see the final ride or the award ceremony.
I bought the subscription for the full event, but I’ve been frustrated enough with Universal Sports I’ve watched much less than I’d originally planned on.
The replay ends as Rodrigo is going into the ring on his 4th horse, so it doesn’t show the last two rides or the awards. i emailed them - hopefully they can fix it?

I had this exact problem, very disappointing!
Yes, I had these same problems - I also emailed them - thanking them for the coverage, but suggesting that they might need more bandwidth for the amount of traffic they had for the big finals.
If you paid with a credit card I would protest the charge and fight it, you didn’t get what you paid for and I think its almost worse to get cut off right before the end of the class than to miss the entire event.
So the final minutes are gone forever? I was hoping that if I went into a replay that everything would sort itself out. Hopefully the NBC coverage will show us what we missed.
I got the coverage specifically for the dressage and the eventing (which was super) so I won’t be heartbroken if I don’t get a replay of those final minutes, but it was a disappointment. I wanted to SEE those final rounds, especially the winning one.
And, it took me 35 minutes to sign on originally. Even though I knew the correct URL, it kept loading the Index and then would not let me into Live Video.
If it is, indeed, not enough bandwidth (and I suspect it is since I only had this much trouble during the final 4 and dressage freestyle) then it is a bad news/good news situation.
We have surprised US with the number of equestrian fans who are out here, thirsty for Equestrian Olympic sports. – I am assuming that US only shows Olympic sports??? – Why else flip us over to Serbian vollyball for the last 10 minutes of the 2 hour time slot?
I am still not able to watch or get past the ad. Am very peeved since this is a paid service and not free. I sent them a message and will have to see what they say if anything. Then I suppose the charge will be protested.

I emailed them last night when I could not get the final 2 rides to play, and they said that “Due to a communication error with the production truck in Lexington, we cut away from the coverage by mistake.” I was able to get the remaining 2 rides and the medal ceremony to play this morning.
I watched all of it on my regular TV (without cable or satellite) on the Universal Sports channel - NBC.3

My parents get Universal Sports, but unfortunately I don’t get that channel with my package, and I know a number of people on the thread mentioned that they don’t get that channel either 
I had the same problems with the feed; I missed Rodrigo and Phillipe’s last trip. It went down during Rodrigo’s schooling, but I thought it was just my computer because I tended to get kicked off quite a bit! However, it seems like a lot of people had the same problem I did!
I was irritated to find that they had somehow added Ukraine Volleyball to the end of the live feed? Really confused by that…
