I’m home and feeling much better.
I just got a report that Aspergillus fumigatus grew out on one of my sputum samples.
Fungal hyphae were seen on the samples from my bronchoscopy last October but the infectious doctor dismissed it saying “every body has fungus in their lungs” Because it didn’t show up on any culture.
Three different radiologists have said my CT scans look like a mycobacterial infection but nothing culture out. They are notoriously hard to culture. Different infectious doctors have recommended against treating that.
Gram negative rods aren’t significant either.
I’m frustrated.

Don’t know yet. This report just popped up this morning.
Hemoglobin was 7.1 before the transfusion, 9.8 after and 11.2 today so good news
And the rest of my CBC looked mostly NORMAL
