I came across this on MSN. The mare looks fairly good now and looks like she got a soft landing. I can’t even say what I think about her former ‘rider’

Thank you for the update. I was sick to my stomach watching the original footage as it played live almost certain of that poor horse’s fate. Glad she beat the odds.

What was the diagnosis that made her so ill? I’m assuming road founder, concussion laminitis?
I know this horse from before this guy owned her.
She has always been NQR. But, like nearly all of the people in the “cowboy” culture around here, that didn’t stop any one from riding her like nothing was wrong.
Good to hear she is doing well. She deserves a good home after that asshat.
