so so sorry:-(
I am so sorry
It seems like it’s always the black, blingy ones that we lose. I lost one of those too a few years back. You definitely fought the good fight, hope it goes better the next time. Jingles for the mare.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I’m so very sorry. There are no words.
I am so sorry. How heartbreaking Jingles for you and the sweet mare. It’s been a horrible few days for many folks I know.
So sorry for your loss. A sad ending to a long battle.
I’m so very sorry - I’ve been there and it is so devastating. Jingles for you and your mare.

I’m so sorry.
I’m sorry
So sorry to hear this.
Please keep us posted on the vets results.
Ahh…so sorry:cry:
That is just horrible, I think we were all looking forward to a normal foaling, hope the mare feels better soon.
I think it was an inutero separation of the placenta that caused this loss as I found it in two pieces. Doesn’t look like an infected placenta to me, but will see what the vet finds when she exams it. We had kept up the SMZs and Regumate, but switched from the pentoxy to Banamine. We couldn’t do a transabdominal u/s, but over time, I really felt it was a mechanical problem vs an infectious one. This mare just was not a likely candidate for an ascending placentitis, and I see no evidence of that myself, but I will update later when I know more. Thank you for all of your kind words.
So sorry; I know what a terrible, helpless feeling it is.
I am so very sorry.
I’m so sorry. Hugs. Jingling for the mare’s quick recovery.
So sorry to hear this:( My mare is still hanging in (knock wood) at day 314 today. Hopefully she will deliver a healthy foal in a couple more wks. Would be interested to hear what your vet had to say.
I am so sad for you. What a heartbreak. Hope your mare recovers and gives you another RC baby next year…
It is a lot to bear.
